Restoration workshop

In line with the Sursock Museum’s mission, the restoration workshop aims to maintain and restore the Museum's collection.

In October 2014, the Museum launched a restoration campaign aimed at cleaning – and, when necessary, restoring – the Museum’s collection in preparation for the reopening. A team of highly skilled restorers treated a wide range of works, from paintings, photographs, and ceramics, to paper-based works, metalwork, and stone sculptures.

The restoration workshop is equipped with all the necessary tools and chemicals to clean, treat, and restore works from different media.

Check out our public program for information on upcoming scheduled tours of the restoration workshop.
